Waianae, Hawaii Tue – Friday / 10 hour work shift

Description

Responsible for preventive measures (quarterly service) and maintenance files of all vehicles; trucks six pax, 4 ton, 5 ton w/forklift trailer, tractor trailers, sedans, electric, forklift; electric/diesel, freight liner trucks and electric vehicles. Diagnose and service inoperable vehicles. Ensure all vehicles are in operating condition, to support Receipt, Segregation, Storage, and Issue of Conventional Arms, Ammunition and Components. Order and maintain fuel, oils, tires and parts in conjunction with maintenance functions. May be assigned to support contract support requirements in a job-related area such as environmental safety and security. May be cross-utilized in other job areas.

Qualifications

Prior skills and work experience in Auto mechanics. Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50+ lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. Must have a high school diploma and ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to obtain a favorable security background clearance and must possess a valid driver’s license.

Compensation: $9.00/hr starting pay depending on experience
